The inspiration for this piece occurred while listening to Avantasia's album "The Scarecrow" while on the exercise bike (I get a lot of ideas on the exercise bike).
The idea for this piece came to me while listening to Disturbed's new album "Indestructible." I find it interesting that the tone of the music doesn't necessarily translate to what sort of art I create.

This Piece was inspired by In This Moment's album "Beautiful Tragedy." It represents pain that is hidden beneath beauty so that others don't know that it is there.
This one was inspired by Static-X's album "Cannibal." I was listening to the album and remembering the concert at the Norva that I went to. Lights and colors and a dark moving mass of humanity.
I came up with the purple and yellow ghosts while listening to DragonForce's album "Ultra Beatdown." While I like the purple and yellow ghosts, I'm not sure if the rest of it works too well.
A member of Wetcanvas.com suggested I listen to the song "Black eyes" by he band Porcupine Tree and see what I came up with. I'd never heard of this band before. Here's the result.
I came up with this piece while listening to Sonata Arctica album "Unia" on the exercise bike. I like to rock out while I work out and often come up with cool art ideas in the process.

I came up with this idea while listening to DragonForce's Album "Inhuman Rampage." When I get ideas while listening to music, its usually a starting point, from which I shape and refine the image.
I got the inspiration for this idea while exercising. The song "Welcome To The Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance came on my Ipod (it was on shuffle). Hope you like it.
This one was inspired by Def Leppard. I was listening to the compilation "Rock of Ages" when this image came into my head. In fact I think it was the song "Armageddon It" if memory serves.
