I've been in a bit of a funk lately, artistically speaking. But I think I might have broken this log-jam. Today I ran across an 80s metal band Banshee and downloaded their old albums from Amazon.com. I also ran across some leftover stock of Art Spectrum Colourfix Coated Pastel Paper that I'd forgotten about. I bought in originally to use for pastels, but I think it will make a nice surface for my current work.
Hopefully I'll have some new work to post by the end of the week.!
For me, music is visual. I see a kaleidoscope of shapes and colors while listening to music. I am using the abstract designs that come to mind while listening to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Music as the basis for my current artwork.
